The Practice of YOGA - Can or Can't?
Assalamualaikum.. Hye readers.. How are you?? I'm well, thank you.. Hey, did you heard the news recently? I mean, in the past few weeks..
Recently, the practice of yoga among muslims had been debated and had the coverage through out the nation.. National Fatwa Council had released a fatwa regarding the practice of yoga among muslims. Upon released, it had the most feedback from all quarters. Some agree, some don't and some wouldn't give a damn about this matter. In my view, as a muslim, we should give a damn about this matter - if you know what i mean.. This is a serious matter regarding the akidah of a muslim.. It's about our faith and belief isn't something to play with.. From Sura An-Nahl, ayat 106.."In The name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful".."Anyone, who, after accepting the faith in Allah, then says (word of) unbelief - except under force (from outside), But in his heart remaining firm in faith - whereas, on such as those who open their chest to unbelief - on them is anger from Allah, and theirs will be a fearful penalty".. This shows that Allah The Almighty doesn't play around when talking about akidah..
Here, I wanna start a debate and we should exchange views regarding this matter.. Do you agree with this motion or are you against?? I don't mind about your point of view as long as it isn't baseless and must be factful and acceptable by the mind.. Ok, you wanna know my view? Here, read this from Surah Al-Kafirun, which means..
" In The Name of ALLAH, Most Gracious, Most Merciful "
' Say : " Oh people who rejects faith! " (1)
I do not worship what you worship (2)
Nor will you worship what I worship (3)
And I will not worship what You have been used to worship (4)
Nor will you worship what I worship (5)
To you be your way, and to me be mine (6) '
What do you understand from this Surah? From ayat 1st till 3rd, Allah demand us to say to all those Kafiruns out there that we (muslims) won't worship what they worship nor will they worship what we worship.. Hey, I remembered something.. The other day, the President of Malaysia Hindu Sangam, Datuk A. Vaithilingam said the council (National Fatwa Council) must respect the sensitivities and feelings of peoples of people of all religions in Malaysia while giving guidance to Muslims.. His quotes in the The Star Newspaper, on Monday, 24th November's issue(page N10) was like this "Many Hindus have been deeply disturbed by the council's announcement. To declare this ancient practice haram and say that it can 'corrupt' a person, is very hurtful and demeaning". I wonder, why on earth, is this Hindu making this remarks? Can I say this guy stoooopid?? Hey, come on la.. National Fatwa Council's edicts are meant for Muslims only you dumb Hindu President! Anyway, kudos to the Perak Religious Department which would abide by the decision of the council.. Hopefully, after their meeting today, they'll come out with a formal announcement citing the implementation of this fatwa.. So, we as a muslim should stand up against this kind of kafiruns who make statements so that we are confused.. We should speak and be counted!!
Ok2.. Enough of that dumb Hindu.. Where were we? Oh, yeah, my view..So, that (surah Al-Kafirun) is my base.. Strong concrete, huh? Haha. Doubless, the best! What I am trying to say from that Surah is that we shouldn't follow what other religion does.. For instance, yoga.. It's said to be from the belief of Indian.. So, in my opinion, if we practice their belief, it is like we hold a colok and 'act' how the chinese did..
Yes, you may argue that if we practice it but we still have belief in god, it is ok.. But, had you heard that yoga could heal cancer? If those cancer patient had done yoga and had positive impact of it, would they tell their relatives and friends something like this, " Alhamdulillah, Allah sembuhkan penyakit aku."? No, kan?? Most of them would say like this, " Ali, ko patut try yoga ni.. Aku buat, trus sembuh penyakit aku.. Memang ada effect lah yoga ni.".. Most of them would say like this, right? One thing that these cancer patient forgot is that Allah the Almighty who had heal their cancer.. Not yoga.. From that on, they have more 'faith' doing yoga to heal their sickness rather that having faith in Allah's will anymore..Doesn't that sound that they had 'diverted' from the right path?
Anyhow, that is only my view.. It may be right or it may be wrong as well.. So, have your say about it.. Can or Can't??
Till we meet again.. May Allah bless you..
Salaam..

Michael Jackson Converts to Islam..
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/article1954666.ece
I'm not kidding though.. You see, UK's The Sun Newspaper reported it.. From the report said that his producer and a songwriter had spotted him 'a bit down'.. So, they talk about Islam, which they had embraced, to Michael and with Allah's will, Michael converts to Islam..
You see, guys?? With all the bad things that he had done, he converts to Islam.. He viewed Islam as a religion that promotes peace and gives inner strength to muslims.. You see, he wants to be a better person.. Better from what he was.. Away from all those sins that made him going from pride to shame.. This shows that Islam is the BEST religion to be a better person.. However, why we, as a muslim, never sought this out but Michael who was a Christian saw this?? Why we (muslims), always wanted to be a 'Michael Jackson' (kafirun) but he, now, is 'us'?? Do you see what I'm trying to say here?
So, think about it.. I may not be the best person to give advise to you as I myself always did the wrong thing.. However, The King of Pop's conversion to Islam is a big Rahmat from Allah S.W.T. to us, as a muslim.. It shows His greatness.. It's a matter of fact whether we saw it or not..
I think that's all I could say.. no matter what it is, it is still ALLAHU AKBAR!!!!
Peace,
Assalamualaikum..
*Next time I'll let u hear a song sang by Mikaeel (Michael) titled, Give Thanks to Allah..

How to buy an mp3 player
Portable media players (PMPs), or MP3 players, to use the commonly accepted moniker , are more or less ubiquitous today. Most of us are on our second or third player already—which is as much a comment on the physical durability of these devices as it is on the frustrating planned obsolescence of their firmware. Apple's iPod line has evolved dramatically since its inception and through it all has held the top spot in the PMP market. But to assume the iPod is the only worthy device on the scene is potentially to rob yourself of the ideal player for your lifestyle. Here are some things to consider before you buy.
Capacity
One of the more important factors to consider when shopping for a player is capacity. Hard disk–based players still offer the highest capacities on the market—currently the Apple iPod classic and the Microsoft Zune are both sold in capacities exceeding 100GB. Larger capacities can be useful for audiophiles who prefer lossless codecs or want to use the player as an external hard drive. Most folks don't need that much storage, however, and hard disk–based players have a serious disadvantage: They are far more fragile than their flash memory–based counterparts. Both the Zune and the iPod lines offer hard disk and flash memory players—the largest flash players available currently are 32GB—but most companies, like Creative, have started to phase out hard disk–based devices altogether. By this time next year, we may have 64GB flash-based players on the market. After that, the next step up capacity-wise for flash memory players should exceed 100GB, which will likely be the death knell for hard disk–based players. If you're looking for tons of storage right now, check out hard disk players from Apple, Archos, Cowon, and Microsoft. If a smaller player—both in physical size and storage capacity—is more appealing to you, a flash-based device is the way to go.
Design and User Interface
Still, it's not all about capacity, and the easiest mistake to make when buying a player is not getting to know it first. Many players are beautiful on the outside but have convoluted user interfaces that cause enough annoyance to outweigh the sexiness of their design. If you can, test out a player in a store. How many clicks of the main button does it take to get from the main menu to the Now Playing screen? Is there a dedicated button that brings you back to the main menu, or do you have to press the back button a million times? If it has a scroll wheel, does the wheel seem overly sensitive, making it hard to select options without overshooting them? Anything that annoys you slightly in the store will annoy you ten times more after just a few weeks of ownership.
File Support
If you are planning on buying protected content—be it video or audio—you'll want to make sure the file types you purchase will work with the player of your choice. If you own an iPod or a Zune, these choices are pretty much made for you, but there are also file formats common to the, ahem, "sharing" of the Internet that won't play on every device—such as Xvid for video or FLAC for audio. Some players, like the Cowon A3, are known for their excellent file support—a claim the iPod cannot make. If file flexibility is what you seek, it's worth exploring beyond the iPod and Zune realm and looking at the A3, as well as the iriver Spinn and Lplayer models.
Screen Size and Resolution
If you plan on watching videos, keep in mind that not all players with screens can play videos, so that's the first thing to check. Aside from that, screen size may be the most important issue. The screen on the iPod touch is stunning—and it's a touch screen, to boot—but it's hardly the only beauty out there. Archos players generally have excellent screens, and other manufacturers, such as Cowon and Samsung, have tried to compete in the large-screen player market as well.
Screen resolution is also an important consideration: Your screen should be a minimum of 2 inches diagonally, with a minimum resolution of 320 by 240 pixels. Ideally, resolution will increase with screen size: 320 by 240 wouldn't look very good on a large screen like that of the Archos 5, which has a resolution of 800 by 480 pixels for its 4.8-inch display.
Special Features
Special features can be alluring in the PMP market. Sony's NWZ-S738F Walkman comes with built-in noise cancellation, the Apple iPod nano will switch to shuffle mode if you merely shake it, and the Zune can wirelessly sync to your home computer (provided you have Wi-Fi). These extra bells and whistles are quite fun—for a little while. You'll be better off in the long run, however, buying a player based on the core values listed above and not because of these gimmicks, which are very much the icing and not the cake. That said, there are some "specialty" players worth noting: The Pioneer XMp3 records and stores content from XM satellite radio, and the Haier Ibiza Rhapsody offers full, on-the-go access to your Rhapsody account. The Finis SwiMP3v2 is geared toward swimmers who want to rock out during their laps.
Price
One feature that everyone wants? A tiny price tag. If a truly cheap player is what you seek—forget the iPod shuffle and check out options that have screens and more features but don't cost any more, like the Creative ZEN Mozaic or the SanDisk Sansa Fuze.
While some of these players are, without a doubt, very expensive, several of the options listed below are not only affordable but likely to be on sale at this time of year—so make sure you shop around for the best bargain!

For U Mama...
I dedicate this to my beloved mom, Pn. Zurina Yusof..
She Used to be my enemy and never letting me be free,
catching me in places that I know I shouldn't be,
Every other day I crossed the line
I didn't mean to be so bad,
I never thought you would become a friend I never had
Back then I didn't know why,
Why you were misunderstood (mama),
So now I see through your eyes,
all that you did was love
Mama I love you, Mama I care,
Mama I love you, Mama my friend,
You're my friend I didn't want to hear it then but I'm not ashamed to say it now,
Every little thing you said and did was right for me,
I had a lot of time to think about,
about the way I used to be,
Never had a sense of my responsibility.
Back then I didn't know why,
why you were misunderstood,
So now I see through your eyes,
all that you did was love,
Mama I love you, Mama I care,
Mama I love you, Mama my friend,
You're my friend ,you're my friend
But now I'm sure I know why (I know why),
why you were misunderstood,
So now I see through your eyes,
all I can give you is love (all I can give you is love),
Mama I love you, Mama I care,
Mama I love you, Mama my friend,
Mama I love you, Mama I care,
Mama I love you, Mama my friend,
You're my friend, you're my friend
Ohh, my mama my love
Ohh, my mama my love
In lobe in you, in love in me
And love is true and guaranteed
Im loving you,you loving me
our love thats true so true
With lots of Love,
your Son..

Reminiscing the Fond Memories..
Hye!How are you today??I'm good..especially after I've completed my final exam last tuesday..or else I would be like, stressed out coz there are so many things to read, so many facts to understand and so much Acts (law of course) to remember..But hey, that's life right?? All these happens for a cause.. Yeah, enough of that.. hahaha..
As I was watching TV in the living room alone at my uncle's house in Sunway, sit a plastic yellow plastic bag.. So, I was curious what is it inside the plastic bag.. As I 'selongkar' the plastic bag, I found this picture (below)..
This is actually a back-dated photograph taken way back in the 70's.. This picture is actually the the picture of my mother's family.. Here, let me introduce them to you.. Standing from left to right are Pn. Zanariah (of course now she is a puan already), Pn. Zubaidah who is the second child and the eldest daughter who I called 'Mak Ngah' and Mr. Zahir who is the eldest which is famous as 'Ayah Long' among family members..Next to him is who I called Mak Sinah..Sorry,but I didn't know her real name..Next to her is my beloved mother, Pn. Zurina..
Those sitted from left are my grandmother, Pn Salminah and My grandfather, Mr. Yusof..next to him is Pn. Azidah who I called her, 'Achik', the youngest among the siblings.. However, I can't recall who is next to her.. Sorry, but you have to understand of course, now people look so different from what they were back then especially in this picture..
So, why did I publish this picture?? First, nowadays, it's so hard to find such a family potrait like this especially when it's still in black n white.. Secondly, it kind of touched my feelings as well.. Moreover, now I know how does my grandfather looks like as he had passed away before I was born.. The last but not least,of course I want to share with all of you..haha..
so, try to browse in your grandmothers cupboard or boxes, you are sure to find much picture like this.. Try to 'selongkar' with your parents.. Then they'll tell you lots of stories about their fond memories back then about the picture.. Try it lah.. You'll enjoy it.. besides, u could know more about family members as well..
So, i think until here k.. Till we meet again.. Papai.. Salam..
